TERMS OF SERVICE – MATT VOYLES MYOTHERAPY & REMEDIAL MASSAGE

 General Policy & Guidelines for New Clients

Thank you for choosing Matt Voyles Myotherapy & Remedial Massage. We look forward to providing you with professional myotherapy, remedial, or relaxation massage treatments at our in-home studio.

ELIGIBILITY

Clients must be 18 years or older to book a myotherapy, remedial, or relaxation massage treatment.

PRICES & PAYMENT

  • Treatment prices vary based on type and duration, as outlined at mattvoylesmyo.com. Full payment is due after your session.

  • Accepted payment methods are listed on the website.

  • By booking, you agree to provide complete and accurate billing details, especially if claiming a private health fund rebate.

CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

  • New clients are required to complete a health and demographic form (paper or electronic) for safety purposes. Details are provided on the form.

  • We will never release your personal or health information to third parties without written consent – for example: client referral to a physiotherapist or GP.

  • Once your booking is confirmed, you’ll receive an appointment confirmation via email and/or SMS.

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

More than 24 hours’ notice:

You may cancel your appointment via phone (voicemail), SMS, email, or through the website with no penalty if you provide at least 24 hours’ notice.

Less than 24 hours’ notice:

If you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment, a cancellation fee will apply, as detailed on mattvoylesmyo.com.

We may waive this fee at our discretion if your cancellation is due to genuine, unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness, childcare emergencies, flight delays). We appreciate your understanding that missed appointments incur a cost to our business.

Please respect our time, as we respect yours.

DELAYED ARRIVAL OR NO-SHOW

If you're delayed, please call us as soon as possible. We'll hold your appointment for up to 30 minutes.

If we haven’t heard from you after 30 minutes, the session will be considered a no-show and charged in full.

If you arrive late, your session may still finish at the scheduled end time, depending on practitioner availability.

Example: A 3:00 PM session ending at 4:00 PM will still finish at 4:00 PM even if you arrive at 3:15 PM. Full charges apply.

GIFT VOUCHERS & PACKAGES

  • Valid until the expiry date specified.

  • Must be paid in full before the first session.

  • Lost or stolen vouchers will not be replaced.

  • Non-refundable and not redeemable for cash if you miss appointments.

  • Cannot be used in conjunction with other offers.

  • Non-transferable; must be used by one person per visit.

If a package includes both remedial/myotherapy and relaxation treatments, only the remedial/myotherapy sessions are eligible for private health fund rebates. The client is responsible for claiming the health fund rebates manually after all sessions have occurred.

HICAPS cannot be used for package deal rebate claiming.  

PANDEMIC & COVID-19 & COLD / FLU POLICY

Massage therapy is available to:

  • Fully vaccinated clients, or

  • Clients with a valid medical exemption from an Australian-registered medical practitioner.

  • Clients who a free of cold or flu like symptoms

This policy came into effect on in October 2021.

Matt Voyles Myotherapy & Remedial Massage is a COVID SAFE business.

  • If your appointment is affected by a government lockdown or temporary COVID-related closure, it will be rescheduled or refunded without penalty to you.

CLIENT CONDUCT – UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOUR

Inappropriate behaviour during a session includes (but is not limited to):

  • Unsolicited touching of the practitioner’s genital area, buttocks, or thighs

  • Requests for sexual services

  • Racist, aggressive, or offensive language

  • Harassing, threatening, or abusing the practitioner

  • Attending under the influence of alcohol or non-prescribed drugs

  • Refusing to follow practitioner requests regarding draping or safety

  • Non-disclosure of any health condition that could impact the health & safety of either the client or the practitioner

  • Using devices to record audio, video, or images without permission while on the premises of Matt Voyles Myotherapy & Remedial Massage

  • Attempting to access the practitioner’s private devices (e.g. computer or phone)

Any such conduct will result in immediate termination of the session, full session fees will apply, and the client will be asked to leave the premises immediately.
